Neston4 vs Pinewood2
Match Report by CRAIG TRENHOLMWith top temperatures and a top of the table clash with Pinewood, Neston 4s were in for an evening of hot and hard tennis!
Jade and Kate had a long first set, narrowly losing out in a tie break. Pinewood unfortunately taking that momentum into the second set.
Laura and Fiona had a close first set but were eager for some shade away from the travelling mother and daughter duo who played some great tennis.
Ben and Will had a tough game against a very strong 3/4 pair. Unfortunately losing the game.
Craig and Strongy had a long first set losing out 5-7. But came back strong in the 2nd with a 6-2 win, momentum with them they won the championship tie break 10-4
Mixed games were a struggle for Neston, pinewood winning all but one! Strongy and Fiona winning 6-4 6-3. A double win for Strongy!
10-38 loss, but Neston still sit in 2nd place! Onto next week!
