Neston1 vs Prenton2
Match Report by REBECCA DAVIDSONNeston 1st Open Team had a gruelling, closely fought match against Prenton 2s tonight.
Matt and Rebecca got the team off to a great start, beating the top pair in straight sets. They then narrowly missed out against the second pair, losing 8–10 in a match tie-break.
Lloyd and Lydia put in a strong performance against the second pair but were also edged out in a match tie-break. They then faced the top pair and went down in two competitive sets.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable night of tennis, with plenty of long rallies and hard-fought points across the court.
Most importantly, we picked up some valuable points rather than handing them away by default.
