A 4 hour marathon thanks to a lack of courts, even less floodlit courts and losing the light early. It was clear early doors that these teams were 2 divisions apart last season & having wrapped up a perfect opening half.

Wallasey's attempts to get in our heads by leaving half the team standing around in the cold backfired and the 2s walked away with an almost perfect 46-2 win to get the 2026 season off to a great start.

We had an early shot of the season contender from Laura, somehow digging out a half volley lob winner after a net cord and despite the closeness of some of the sets, the 2s never looked in trouble once the first sets were on the board.
