Match Report by MATT STRONGThe mighty 5s recorded a perfect 48-0 victory over Bertram.
Despite the windy and claustrophobic conditions, Neston never looked troubled and completed a clean sweep of all 24 sets.
The highlight came from Strong and Holroyd, who found themselves 4-2 down in the opening set before mounting a superb comeback to win it 6-4. Quoted by Ben ‘let’s get digging’, they started the digging, and by the end, the digging had well and truly been dug.
Elsewhere, Olivia looked far too good to be playing at number four, barely giving her opponents a sniff. Fortunately for Neston, the virus was the only thing Bertram managed to keep hold of all night.
All in all a superb evening for the mighty 5s securing their spot at second 14 points behind Upton!
