Match Report by maddie haighA few showers couldn't dampen Neston 5s' spirits as they powered to an impressive 36-12 victory over Port Sunlight on the Astro.
The Men got off to a flying start with Dave & George and Reece & Brian securing identical 6-1, 6-4 wins. Fiona & Maddie added another strong win, taking their match 6-4, 7-6, while Becky & Laura were unlucky to lose out in a nail-biting championship tie-break.
In the mixed it was tiebreaks galore. Dave & Laura and Reece & Maddie both taking the win in the championship tie break. George & Becky were unfortunate to come out on the wrong side of their third set. Brian & Fiona finished strong securing a straight-sets victory.
