Hooton2 vs Neston3

Tough day at the office for our 3’s away against Hooton 2’s. After being thoroughly humiliated by our 2’s last week, Hooton clearly wanted to make sure they weren’t left red-faced again on home turf. Having played in both fixtures I can attest to the fact that they brought out the big guns for this one and made 2 tactical player switches. Only 3 of the same team from last week appeared for Hooton and the newbies were definitely in a different class!

However, we fought hard and never gave up. The award for battle of the evening has to go to Harry and Steve who secured a brilliant win as top men in a nail biting championship tie break!!! 💪

Skipper Lloyd showed us how it’s done with 2 very convincing wins in the men’s doubles with Martyn and in the mixed with Issy 🥳

The overall result of 16-32 doesn’t reflect the amazing effort everyone put in last night. Well done team!! 😊
